Inclusive mobility is not a question of location - and yet the conditions for this vary greatly. This panel discussion focuses on mobility in both urban and rural areas and looks at how special bikes, on-demand transport, e-scooters and other innovative solutions can make life in and around the city easier. Experts will discuss current challenges - from long distances to a lack of accessibility - and show concrete practical examples that make mobility possible for all age and user groups. The focus will be on demand-responsive on-demand buses, supra-regional cycle path networks, delivery services, community-based ride-sharing models and adaptable special bikes to enable equal participation. Both technical and organizational aspects will be discussed, such as financing, cooperation and legal framework conditions. The session focuses on the exchange of experiences between associations, municipalities, start-ups and clubs. It is aimed at municipal decision-makers, parents, civil society actors and mobility service providers who are looking for inspiration and know-how for scalable, people-centered solutions in their region.
