Aftershow with aussichtslois

Playful and melancholic songs that roam curiously through the soundscapes of past decades, occasionally allowing to pop in and always carrying their sparks full of little explosions with them.

The aaltra in Chemnitz is closed on Mondays. No drinks, no beer garden chats, no underground concerts. Only a small group of people are allowed in, all regulars of the bar, who try out their instruments every Monday in different combinations together with the landlord. They make noise against the irreversibility of their predetermined lives, against the constant return of the familiar. Mid-thirties punk rock. That was in 2015.

Today, three of them still meet every Monday. In their new formation -raender-, founded in 2021, they show that they have grown up musically. Sample pads and synthesizers add a rich dose of pop music to the band's original raw rock sound. The content of the new songs also deals with the coming-of-age of the singer/guitarist. When did I really arrive? Are there many of us or am I perhaps alone after all? What place will I take? In their search for identity, the band goes to the edges of things. Where everything seems clearer than in the tumult of the center. And the distance to the others is smaller.

In October, raender released their first collection of songs in the form of an EP called "arrival" digitally on many streaming platforms.
