Rain Sultanov is an Azerbaijani saxophonist and composer. He is known for his deep, introspective sound that combines jazz mastery with the soulful roots of Azerbaijan and is appreciated for his meditative and ethereal music.

Rain Sultanov is one of the central figures of the Azerbaijani jazz scene. He promotes jazz both in his home country and far beyond its borders. Rain Sultanov has released several albums on the German label Ozella Music, which have received great acclaim in Europe.
One of his most important works is the album -Cycle, in which he experiments with the minimalist sound of the soprano saxophone and combines chamber music arrangements with organ and piano.
