RainbowBAROQUE - Sonderkonzert 10 Jahre RSOM

"RainbowBaroque " is the name of the ensemble of baroque-loving musicians from the Rainbow Sound Orchestra Munich, which invites you to St. Willibrord for a pre-Christmas feast for the ears on December 11: In the special concert for the 10th anniversary year of the queer Munich orchestra, there are no female or LGBT composers on the program as usual, but nothing but baroque, baroque, baroque! The Rainbow Musicians have a passion for the rhythmic, polyphonic, courtly and playful Baroque style. They are very familiar with historical performance practice and their penchant for original instruments is another facet of their diverse regular orchestra. They perform all the works in the anniversary special on baroque violins and violas, transverse flutes and recorders, baroque oboes and baroque bassoons. They bring compositions by the greatest "stars of the basso continuo era" such as Georg Phillipp Telemann, Johann Christian Pez and Johann Sebastian Bach to new life for the audience. "RainbowBAROQUE" can be heard on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 7:30 pm in St. Willibrord (Blumenstr. 36, 80331 Munich). Free admission, all donations go directly to Münchner AIDS-Hilfe.
