Everyone talks about participation - but what does it actually mean? When is participation good and is there such a thing as bad participation? In our workshop, we would like to take a closer look at the topic of child and youth participation: What right to participation do children and young people have and where is this stipulated? What spaces for participation are there in our everyday lives - be it in the family, at school, in the city or in clubs?

Together we will try to find answers to these questions and define what child and youth participation actually means and how it can be organized in Hamburg. We will also take a closer look at the participation landscape that already exists in our city and what potential is still untapped. Children and adults are invited to talk to each other and develop ideas on what participation can look like in different areas of life.

Come along, contribute your thoughts and let's look together for ways in which we can promote the active participation of children and young people!

Recommended age for participating children: 6 to 10 years, siblings of all ages are very welcome!
