Randi Tytingvåg Trio - a unique small chamber orchestra!

The Randi Tytingvåg Trio can look back on a long career with numerous tours in Norway and Germany. In March 2026, the band will present their new album LENGT (Longing). With uplifting lyrics and a soundscape with elements of folk, jazz and the singer-songwriter tradition, the trio always delivers quality.

In October 2025, the three musicians settled in a farmhouse surrounded by magnificent nature in Sandnes, Norway. In this tranquil, picturesque setting, they were able to work undisturbed and intensively on the new album. From vocal harmonies, guitars, banjo, bouzouki, mandola and other stringed instruments, a refreshingly invigorating, acoustic musical style emerged. LENGT's music was composed by Randi Tytingvåg and the lyrics were written in close collaboration with poet and author Helge Torvund.

Now the three are looking forward to going on tour again and playing these songs live! The trio performs with a single microphone, old-fashioned and from the heart. No backline or monitors are needed.
