The rap show by the mixedability ensemble of the freie bühne stuttgart with people aged 12 and over in cooperation with "Workshops0711" and the JugendKulturhaus dasCann Bad Cannstatt

For us, the future is now! With the music show rapa©tiv, we are creating a great format to put the spotlight on young people with disabilities. Here, teenagers and young adults from Stuttgart/the region with and without disabilities learn from each other through play. We discover talents, we give young people opportunities, joie de vivre and hope.

rapa©tiv is the rap show of the mixedability ensemble of the freie bühne stuttgart and "Workshops0711".
At rapa©tiv, young people aged 12 and over, with or without disabilities, perform together on stage with their rap, hip hop, breakdance, instrumental music, singing and lyrics. rapa©tiv is a community in which no one is left behind, because everyone supports each other, everyone learns from each other in order to achieve the common goal: to sweep the audience off their feet.

The professional management team Babak Sayyar (rapper, rap coach, music producer) and Gvantsa Gazdeliani (theater pedagogue) and two inclusion assistants as well as a mentor with experience in inclusion support each participant in contributing to the creative work in a way that is appropriate for them. Each participant develops their own number with their own text/dance/music or song: in German, Turkish, Arabic, English, fantasy language - the main thing is that it rocks.

freie bühne stuttgart is the only professional theater in Stuttgart/region where people with disabilities can work professionally as artists. The interdisciplinary artistic management team at fbs has been working with physically and cognitively disabled artists since 2013 with the aim of using artistic means to examine issues, experiences, perspectives and the attitude to life of people with disabilities as part of our social interaction and to present them to the public at established cultural venues in Stuttgart. We believe that this will change the "face" of the city.
