With the Ensemble Pygmalion and its charismatic director Raphaël Pichon, interpretative depth meets subtle sound design. Together with the renowned baritone Stéphane Degout, a musical homage to Johannes Brahms is created, which sets vocal and orchestral masterpieces in a touching dialog. The subtle combination of Brahms' sacred choral works, his introspective "Four Serious Songs" and the monumental First Symphony promises a concert experience of extraordinary intensity.
