On December 19, 2025, the big hall at WERK°STADT will be all about the offbeat! At the Raski Ska Rumble, you can expect an evening full of energetic rhythms, danceable grooves and a great atmosphere.

British ska legend Arthur Kay will be accompanied by The Clerks, one of Germany's most exciting ska bands! They will also be playing their own set, and Betrayers Of Babylon and Naia Skaia will be providing a varied line-up between classic two-tone, reggae and modern ska with their rousing sounds.

The Clerks & London ska legend Arthur Kay - 25 Years of Ska, Sweat & Beers Tour

Since 2000, The Clerks from Cologne have stood for the finest offbeat in all its facets - from trad ska to two tone to reggae & dub. In 25 years, they have not only established themselves as an independent institution, but also as a sought-after backing band for scene greats such as Roy Ellis (Mr. Symarip), Docta Rude, Tommy Tornado and Dr. Ring Ding.
At their side: Arthur Kay, the "Original South London Rude Boy". He has been shaping the British ska scene since the 1960s and has worked with Rico Rodriguez, Dandy Livingstone, Judge Dread and Desmond Dekker, among others. Since the Freedom Sounds Festival 2016, he has been performing live again regularly - often together with the Clerks, with whom he also recorded the album The Night I Came Home.
On December 19, it's Ska, Sweat & Beers - a German ska institution meets a living legend. Skanking guaranteed!

Naia Skaia stand for a rousing mixture of driving rhythms, profound lyrics and catchy melodies that invite you to move and at the same time make you think. From the very first note, Naia Skaia takes the listener on a journey full of emotion and musical adventure.
The twelve-piece band, consisting of talented musicians with a wide range of influences and experiences, has managed to create a sound that is both contemporary and timeless.
In their lyrics, Naia Skaia explore the themes of love and dealing with alcohol in an honest and reflective way. They interweave stories of romantic entanglements and social gatherings with the warm glow of bar lights and the deep hum of music. In doing so, the band manages to reflect the duality of these themes - the joy and darkness that accompany them - in their music, while creating a space for celebration and self-reflection.
