Curious about what it's like behind the scenes at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt? Would you like to know what it feels like to stand on the "boards that mean the world" yourself?

Then this event is just right for you!

We'll start with a guided tour of the theaters together, then we'll either go to the performance of Macbeth at the opera or to the play Süßer Vogel Jugend.

Schedule

• 17:00 - Start of the backstage tour, meeting point: Opera & Schauspiel box office at Willy-Brandt-Platz

• 18:15-18:30 - End of the guided tour, conclusion & get-together with drinks in the Chagall Hall

• 19:00 - Start of the evening program: performance of Macbeth at the Opera or introduction & performance of Süßer Vogel Jugend at the Schauspiel

The event is exclusively for our community. A total of 10×2 people can participate, divided between opera and theater. Lotteries will take place in 2 ways due to the allocation to the different plays:

In the opera: Macbeth

How does a man become a murderer? In Verdi's classic opera Macbeth (please add plus title in italics), based on Shakespeare's play, a couple are driven to murder by greed for power and seduction - and ultimately fall apart due to guilt and madness. The music is dark and full of tension, but also classically beautiful and haunting - a sound that gets right under your skin.
