Rechte Gewalt: Auswirkungen & Widerstand. Workshop am Erinnerungsort Alter Schlachthof

The web documentary GEGEN UNS by RAA Sachsen e.V. focuses on the life stories of people who were attacked for various right-wing motives. Those attacked, their relatives and companions talk about their personal memories and perspectives. These bear witness to the individual and social impact of racist, anti-Semitic and right-wing violence. At the same time, they report on practices of lived solidarity and resistance.

The workshop is an opportunity to approach the topic of right-wing violence together using the stories in the web documentation. No prior knowledge of right-wing, racist or anti-Semitic violence or of the web documentation is required. Students of the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences are particularly invited to the workshop.

Lukas Hübner (social worker and education officer) and Eva Grütgen (research assistant at the Alter Schlachthof memorial site) will guide you through the workshop.
