Where the cult tradition of German live late nights has been celebrated since 1988, host Henning Mehrtens now invites you to your new wake-up call on Hamburg's Kiez every 2nd Saturday. Always on board: "one-man band" Otto Puttel and rock star Lia Joham, who brings a top hit to the stage in every show that you simply have to dance along to.

True to the motto "Schmidtgemacht um Mitternacht", new, popular comedy acts take to the stage in every show, score points with their best gags and compete with the audience for fame, honor and fine prizes. In the most beautiful game show style, there are quizzes, vegan jokes, "Flirt ABC", "Wahrheit oder Kiez" or "Last Schmidt Standing". Every single guest - or even the entire room - is in demand as a candidate until the Schmidt super guest of Saturday night is determined, who goes home with a mega prize.

And it doesn't matter whether your evening comes to a grand finale here or whether you go on your merry way afterwards: This show is the highlight of your weekend. Guaranteed!
