Regensburger Herbstdult

In the organizer's words:

• This is the Dult - 17 days of adventure, atmosphere and culinary delights.

• Two large festival tents offer a daily changing music program and a rich menu.

• It's all happening here - the amusement dult attracts visitors with numerous rides and fairground rides.

The Regensburg Dult has its roots in the Middle Ages, when church festivals and pilgrimages were used to hold fairs. Originally documented as part of the Stadtamhof district in the 14th century, the markets developed into today's two Dulten in May (Frühjahrsdult) and August/September (Herbstdult). The Dulten were initially purely annual markets for the exchange of goods, but over time rides and entertainment were added, giving the fair its current form.
