The Heimatverein Oberneuland presents, together with the music agency Emotional.Zone, the event app Rausgegangen Oldenburg, DownTownIslandRadio and Cafe-Schwarz.TV live music every 3rd Wednesday from October to April. From 19:00 to 21:00, whereby... the end of the concert is largely determined by the audience (i.e. you)! From May to September, EDEKA Maaßkultur then takes over the open air concerts every Wednesday on the market square of Edeka Maaß

REINHARD MEY TRIBUTE

In the more than 50 years of his career, he has influenced countless musicians, including singer-songwriter Stefan Hasselmann with his unmistakable voice. Together with actress and singer Marie-Luise Gunst, he presents a collage of Reinhard Mey's songs and lyrics, charming and tongue-in-cheek, surprising and touching, to be recognized and rediscovered.

With clever lyrics, catchy melodies and a smile in the corner of his eye, Stefan Hasselmann follows in the good German-language singer-songwriter tradition, inspired by musicians such as Reinhard Mey and Sven Regener. Each of his songs is an invitation to the listener to come with him to the seaside to put their thoughts in order while gazing at the waves, to stroll through the city streets with an alert gaze, or to reflect on the longing for freedom or love over a glass of wine. A musical flaneur between chanson and blues, who sings with his stories about the little things and the big questions of life, moving effortlessly and charmingly between fitted sheets and humanity, and circling around the question: Do you want to live as a king or a vagabond.

Singer-songwriter pop between city, sea and soul!

"Songs for the soul" - that's how you could describe the musical universe of songwriter and actress Marie-Luise Gunst. Her voice "gets under your skin", you feel "captivated by it (...), something resonates for a long time", writes the publisher Nürnberger Presse. And indeed: her songs open up perspectives and spaces for encounters with topics that we often overlook, but the small moments often contain the greatest emotions. With poetic language, clever wordplay and catchy melodies, she sings about the love of the sea, mental health, tolerance, love and human interaction. Her themes have depth, but always a hopeful lightness that encourages. Almost 20 years in Berlin have shaped Marie-Luise Gunst's songwriting, but also the companions she has met along the way: Musicians from the bands of "DOTA" and Rio Reiser, from Gundermann's Seilschaft and Axel Prahl's Inselorchester. With them, she has found her very own world of sound, somewhere between pop, folk and chanson.
