Authors and journalists Michael Dietz and Jochen Schliemann host "Reisen Reisen", the travel podcast with the widest reach in the German-speaking world. The two have traveled to more than 100 countries, but they are far from finished. Since January 2018, they have been encouraging people to travel individually and sustainably and helping them to discover this beautiful world with all their senses. Whether it's Europe's best sides with South Tyrol, Sweden or Nice; nearby destinations such as Salzburg, Franconia or Helgoland; dream destinations such as South Australia, Thailand or Tokyo - everything is exciting and worth a trip when Jochen Schliemann and Michael Dietz talk about it. You don't always have to travel long distances or invest a lot of money to find your dream trip. The perfect trip is often closer than you think. Well-founded tips, atmospheric, almost poetic descriptions, a down-to-earth approach, a look at the environment, fun and the unique chemistry between Schliemann and Dietz characterize "Reisen Reisen". Started as an idealistic project by two world explorers and improvers, "Reisen Reisen" has developed into the German-language travel podcast with the widest reach, with up to 100,000 listeners per episode. In total, the podcast has already inspired more than 8 million travel fans. The Apple editorial team even selected "Reisen Reisen" as one of the best podcasts of 2021. The podcast makers are convinced: "Travel makes you smarter, travel makes you more tolerant, travel makes us question and better understand the world, our home and ourselves - because you have to travel."
