The sixth international "REM-Festival für Elektroakustische Musik und Anrainerkünste" by projektgruppe neue musik Bremen focuses on live performances, also and especially in combination with the Bremen Loudspeaker Orchestra BLO. This unique instrument of over 200 loudspeakers combines high-end loudspeakers and speakers from scrap metal, collected with the help of the city's waste collection service, in the style of Francois Bayle's legendary "Acousmonium".

Classics of electro-acoustic music from the 60s to the present day will be played via the BLO, while international experimental music performers will create special live sets that will be distributed across 200 loudspeakers in the room.

Once again, the REM Festival combines the academy with the underground, harsh noise and improvisation with ensemble music. Installation and film with live action and staging.
