The Halle für Kunst Lüneburg is 30 years old. To mark the occasion, the artist Samuel Bich has set up an archive, which we will explore together in this intergenerational workshop.
The Kunstverein is firmly rooted in the city and has appeared in different places and in different forms over the years. But what does it have to do with Haarley's hairdressing salon? How did Yoko Ono end up at Pons? And where did the Magical Mystery Tour lead? We will explore these and other mysteries - and in doing so, we will discover surprising parallels to our own life stories.
All participants - regardless of age - are invited to bring along a personal document or object from the last 30 years. Based on this, we will look for temporal, local and personal points of contact between our own lives and the history of the Halle für Kunst Lüneburg. We will record these connections in collages, which we will create together based on Samuel Bich's exhibition INVENTORY 1995-2025.
