Rescue & Shelter Open Air 2026

In the organizer's words:

To ring in the beginning of summer, the fifth edition of the Rescue and Shelter Open Air will take place on May 29 and 30. On the grounds of the Prinz-Leopold-Kaserne, there will be a political picnic for you on Friday from 5 pm with various talks and workshops on Europe's external borders and the planned deportation terminal at Munich Airport. In addition, the film Kein Land Für Niemand will be shown and the evening will end with a cozy evening around the campfire.

The classical festival will take place on Saturday with live music from Poppo von Rott, Raveslut, Fritzi Noir and many more. A poetry slam, mime art and improv theater await you on the cabaret stage. From 10-5 pm, the Sprengkollektiv from Nuremberg and the Regensburg collective Human Soul Interface are organizing a rave of the very best. There will also be food and drinks, photo exhibitions, a family-friendly children's program and much more.

In case of rain, the event will take place in the covered area of the PLK. All profits will go to the Sea-Eye association and the SoliAsyl working group.
