RESONANZEN | Calmus Ensemble (A capella)

At the end of the anniversary season, an a cappella group that can also look back on a 25-year history will perform in Siegburg: the Calmus Ensemble. Although it has since been rejuvenated, it remains true to its musical DNA, which has its origins in the Leipzig St. Thomas Boys Choir: the Calmusians shine brighter than ever and remain alert in their repertoire. It is important to the ensemble to invent programs that follow a common thread and bring together as many different genres as possible. The formation in Siegburg gives an exemplary impression of this when it traces Christmas choral movements through the centuries.
