The multi-award-winning British author Robert MacFarlane presents his new book "Are Rivers Living Things?". With poetic linguistic power and inquiring curiosity, Macfarlane explores the question of how we can better understand and protect the natural habitats around us - and why we may have to rethink them completely.

Before the reading, Greenpeace's interactive exhibition invites you to visit: it impressively shows how threatened our waterways are - and how much our actions determine their future. Free admission to the Greenpeace exhibition. Greenpeace is not involved in the proceeds of the event.

The reading itself will take place in the neighboring Design Center - in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition.
Robert MacFarlane is considered one of the most important nature writers of our time. His books have been translated into numerous languages, won many awards and open up new perspectives on the relationship between man and landscape.
