StadtSommer Kassel on Friedrichsplatz is back - and the first top star has been confirmed: Roland Kaiser is coming to Kassel on Saturday, June 20, 2026!

At the premiere in 2023, 18,000 enthusiastic visitors sang and rocked with the Queen of Pop Sarah Connor and world star Sting in the middle of Kassel's city center. Now it's time for a new edition: together with MM Konzerte, COFO Entertainment and Kassel Marketing, great things are once again being organized in 2026.

The pop legend will perform as part of his tour "Die Open Airs! Summer 2026" tour in front of the impressive backdrop of the Fridericianum.

Roland Kaiser is one of the best-known and most successful artists in Germany. In 2025, he thrilled a total of 400,000 visitors at 40 sold-out shows - a record in the German music scene. His concerts impress with a perfect selection of songs, a strong stage presence, emotional moments and a close connection with the audience. In combination with a modern light and stage show, every concert becomes an unforgettable experience.

Roland Kaiser also stands for authenticity and consistency away from the stage. He is regularly involved in social projects and is a respected voice in the German-speaking music universe.

Another highlight: on October 16, 2025, he will celebrate his cinema debut in Münster with "50 Years of Roland Kaiser - A Life for Music". The film can be seen in cinemas across Germany from October 21, 2025 - with spectacular live footage and exclusive backstage insights.
