As Trio Patetico, Heike Nicodemus, Ursula Plagge-Zimmermann and Maximilian Mangold play Romantic works by Friedrich Burgmüller, Joseph Kreutzer, Wenzeslav Matiegka, Johann Kaspar Mertz, Franz Schubert and others in alternating formations on historical instruments.
Heike Nicodemus plays an 8-keyed transverse flute after August Grenser (Dresden 1789). The sought-after specialist for historical flutes
performs both as a soloist and in various chamber music ensembles and with renowned orchestras on historical instruments.
Ursula Plagge-Zimmermann has performed for many years with ensembles for historical performance practice such as L'arpa festante Munich, the Main-Barockorchester Frankfurt, etc. With a viola by Gabriel David Buchstetter (Regensburg 1762), the musician has a wonderfully colorful support.
The exceptional guitarist Maximilian Mangold, winner of many national and international competitions, can be heard on a guitar by Bernhard Kresse after Anton Stauffer (Vienna ca. 1840). Mangold's extensive repertoire is documented in 23 CD recordings, which have been lavishly praised in the specialist press and praised as reference recordings.
