Singer-songwriter Rosa Hoelger and her band will be bringing their new album "Für immer Gummistiefel" to Kulturhaus Schwanen Waiblingen on Saturday, April 25, 2026. With a mixture of folk, punk and alternative, the Berlin musician celebrates the contradictions of life - between revolt and tenderness, everyday life and new beginnings.

Rosa Hoelger is someone who refuses to be pinned down. Her voice sounds as if she is simultaneously laughing at the world and questioning it. Her songs are about missing vacation feelings, tired ideals and small freedoms - and manage not to lose the poetry in all the hustle and bustle. Between violin, drums, piano and bass, they create a sound that is somewhere between living room and barricade.

With her band - Judith Retzlik (violin & vocals), Tommy Schwarzbach (drums & percussion) and Lewin Grosse (piano & bass) - Hoelger creates a sound space that is as powerful as it is warm. Her folk carries the energy of punk, her irony the thoughtfulness of pop.
"Für immer Gummistiefel" is a declaration of love to the imperfect: an album about carrying on when everything else calls for a break.
