Germany in spring. Tine has to go underground. The last action of her political group
threatens to be classified as an act of terrorism. Now she hopes to retreat to her home village:
Bad Kleinen - of all places. Here she stays with her reclusive father on his dilapidated farm.
dilapidated farm. But the peace and quiet in the East German province comes to an abrupt end when
when a well-preserved skeleton is pulled out of the moor right on Tine's doorstep. The village is in turmoil: who sank here and when - and why? The cases of unexplained
disappearances of the last 100 years are reopened and fuel the rumor mill. And all the threads miraculously come together at Tine's father's house.
Although she has completely different worries, Tine starts her own investigations. More and more she delves into the deep layers of the village's collective memory. In the process, she comes across three stories that could be connected to the eerie discovery in the moor.
