Rotweinwanderung Freinsheim 2026

Every festival in the town of Freinsheim is unique and has its own special charm. The series of particularly popular Freinsheim festivals begins at the end of January with the red wine hike. This event has a special charm, especially in the cold season.

The focus here is on feasting and enjoyment. The winegrowers spare no effort to bring the wine to a pleasant drinking temperature and conjure up a sophisticated culinary "buffet" in the vineyards.

Heart-warming mulled wine is also available for visitors.

The culinary highlight at the beginning of the year has been around since 2000 and always takes place on the 4th weekend in January.

From 2026, the red wine hike will take place on two weekends for the first time.
