The Geschichtswerkstatt für Altona invites you to a special tour along the Altona harbor line. From the historic timber port to the traditional fishing port to the Kaispeicher Union, we follow the traces of port development - with stops at the port railroad, the Schellfischtunnel and Hadi Teherani's cityscape-defining construction project on the banks of the Elbe.

The History Workshop's walks have been classics since 1980 - with in-depth knowledge, archive material and dedicated narrators, they offer exciting insights into the history and transformation of the district.
