What the Cycling Clubs celebrate on warm summer evenings, we bring to the Running People: namely a relaxed after-work round including a pizza stop at Gio Gusto in Ihringen! The next installment of our RYZON trail run series awaits you.

The start is right in front of the Gio Gusto pizzeria in the center of Ihringen, on the sunniest side of the Kaiserstuhl. We set off on an 11.5-kilometre loop through the vineyards and then through the fairytale redwood forest towards Lilienhof. From here, we roll along the Kaiserstuhl trail back to Ihringen.

If you want to get into the pizza game at Gio Gusto after our trail run, you should definitely bring some cash with you. This authentic Italian restaurant is certainly one of the few places where you can still get original Italian pizza and tiramisu della nonna.

Good to know: We just let ourselves drift according to our feelings, but you should be able to manage a mileage average of around 6:00 on the flat. The meeting point is directly in front of Gio Gusto in Ihringen. Our tip: The most relaxed way to get there is by car, so join up for carpools.
