Salon Sonnenberg #6

Traditions need to be cherished. Especially when they are cherished ones. And so this year, Salon Sonnenberg is once again opening its doors at the Volkstheater just before Christmas. The Munich artist Fiva invites great colleagues to her stage flat share to make music together and discuss the world. Both are accompanied by her band, consisting of her long-time companions Phil Nykrin on piano, Herbert Pirker on drums and Tobias Wöhrer on bass. The duo Olicía, at home in Berlin and Leipzig, took to the stage with Fiva in Hamburg. And after the first few notes, it was clear to her: they absolutely have to be in the salon. Two singers and multi-instrumentalists, two synchronized loop stations and 200 reasons to be amazed. Soul, jazz, spoken word, pop, folk - it's hard to describe. You have to hear and see it. The same goes for the music of Marlin Beach from Regensburg. He himself describes his sound as yacht pop. When you listen to his music, you feel light, his voice makes you happy and his songs put you in a summery mood, no matter how cold it is. It warms your heart. We're still working on having him sing "All I want for Christmas", that would fit so well. Let's see if it works. It has already worked once this issue, and quite officially: cabaret artist Eva Karl Faltermeier is riding in! With horse and sleigh. Perhaps. But definitely with excerpts from her new program "DingDong". Great fun! And Eva doesn't come alone. Because there's always a guest at every party who someone brings along and who may stay forever. In our case, it's stand-up comedian Hauke von Göns. Local hero from the Lucky Punch Comedy Club. And practically Eva's Christmas present. Thank you already! And of course the hostess will also be performing a few new and old classics. Everything lights up! After all, it's almost Christmas.
