Gerhard has been firmly in the saddle of his mountain bike for over twenty years. Alongside cycling, the mountains are his second passion. The symbiosis of both takes him where often only mountaineers can be found: to the highest mountains on earth. Accompany him and his mountain bike into the thin air of the mountain giants of Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro in Africa, to sacred volcanoes in the Atacama Desert in Chile and to the "mountain of mountains": the K2 in Pakistan. Gerhard prefers to collect impressive moments rather than objects. Captured in breathtaking photographs, he shares them with his audience in an inspiring and humorous way.
