HAND PUPPET THEATER AND DRAMA

"Are you allowed to watch a war?" Henry is still young when he becomes King of England. The country is ailing, the coffers are empty and the people are dissatisfied - being king is not so easy. And as if that wasn't enough, he also starts a long war against France.

Against the backdrop of a cardboard castle, Annika Schaper and Robert Richter combine lively hand puppetry with narrative theater and tell a story that encourages people to take action: about a man who is outgrowing his own power. About a courageous princess who refuses to simply watch and instead takes her fate into her own hands. And of a narrator who would prefer to stay out of everything. But is that even allowed? Can you watch a war without intervening?
