In the organizer's words:

Light and shadow belong together, that's for sure. But what happens when the shadows suddenly develop a life of their own? This much can be revealed: a whole lot of mischief! They multiply at will, fiddle with the laws of nature and even make light their plaything. After far too long in the background, the shadows are now in the spotlight themselves! But how is this possible? Is the door to another world being opened here?

With "Schattenwerfer", the German-French TANGRAM collective has developed a clever and humorous play for young and old. The possibilities of shadow theater are explored again and again in a surprising way. The work was therefore awarded the Icelandic "Fox Award for Innovation in Puppetry".

Age recommendation: 4-12 yrs.
