SCHIRIN KRETSCHMANN: TEN BY ONE
In the organizer's words:
For her solo exhibition TEN BY ONE at the PEAC Museum, Schirin Kretschmann is developing a new ensemble of works that responds to the local conditions by radically recoding the exhibition spaces. With expansive installations, sound and video works, performances and context-specific interventions, she creates a completely new situation: through small and large, loud and quiet events that are constantly reconnected and related to each other, she transforms the exhibition space into a living sphere and opens up a multi-layered choreographic experience for visitors. Spontaneous interactions, perceptual loops or pauses challenge us to rethink familiar perspectives and to experience the exhibition as more than just a static, limited event.
