Have you heard of Schirrmann's? You'll find the new Bremen restaurant in Bremen Youth Hostel - in a prime location on the Weser and in the heart of the city. This is where the world meets! This also applies from a culinary point of view: the kitchen serves you an exciting crossover of "international" and "regional". Be sure to try it out!

PETERS FREUNDE DUO
...for two and unplugged

Matthias Monka and Oliver Kronhardt play the greatest Maffay hits in a reduced form. Powerful and emotional, songs such as Über 7 Brücken, und es war Sommer, Josie, Sonne in der Nacht, Eiszeit and many more are interpreted by the two musicians with great passion and authenticity, without the songs losing any of their originality.

With the complete band "Peters Freunde" they played several times very successfully at big events, e.g. at the Bremerhavener Musiksommer or at the Wilhelmshavener Pumpwerk.

Matthias and Oliver were interested in presenting the Maffay program in a reduced form in smaller clubs in order to focus even more on the quality and power of the songs and to create an unplugged living room atmosphere.
Here and there, one or two of their own songs are included in the program, but mainly everyone is cordially invited to celebrate the Maffay songs with the duo.
Matthias Monka has already been on stage with the master and wrote lyrics for him.

Since August 2024, we have been offering you a special opportunity to do so every second Sunday: at "Schirrmann's Lunch & Music". You can expect not only delicacies à la carte, our varied buffet, coffee specialties, tea and pastries with a view of the Weser, but also live music from musicians from Bremen and the surrounding area, who will round off the afternoon perfectly from 1 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you!
