On May 9, 2026, we're making up for what had to be canceled in October due to illness: SCHNUPPE are finally coming to Café Tikolor Erfurt!

The Cologne-based band combines NDW, punk and noise pop to create an irresistible sound somewhere between sixties garage and wave. Sometimes snotty, sometimes laconic, always pointed - SCHNUPPE deliver catchy hooks with attitude. Their lyrics dissect everyday life, poke their fingers into wounds and counter with humor and self-irony.

Musically, references such as Ideal or Lassie Singers flash up, plus a dose of Breeders attitude - reduction meets joy of playing. Their debut album "Drin was draufsteht" was released by Rookie Records and was celebrated by OX-Fanzine as "very charming and convincing".

Included: THAT'S WHY I LEFT (Ex-Stand The Strain). Melodic, melancholic hardcore with a subcultural heart. Different influences merge into an intense live set that creates space for exchange, cohesion and energy.
