PUPPET THEATER WITH CONTEMPORARY MUSIC

On March 26, the earth cracks open and with Heiko, not only does a man believed dead reappear, but with him the memory of a distant past and its ghosts, who do not want to let go of the present. When the overburden buried Heiko, the world seemed a different place and the coal was black gold. Today, the undead man stands in a new time and a beautiful world between lakes, forests and the grass that grows over everything...

Johannes Kürschner's compositions and eleven theater verses by Moritz Schönbrodt, which have been cut into vinyl, examine the failure to forget the past. Using the means of contemporary music and puppetry, a historical piano machine and mechanical theater, schoenbrodtkuerschner develop their first duo beyond the usual genre boundaries.
