Schröders Garten: DenManTau - Acoustic Summer (Open Air)

In the organizer's words:

DenManTau is a band from Hamburg whose sound is a wild mix of alternative and rock - somewhere between unbridled energy and profound emotionality. Their trademark is the unique combination of acoustic and electric guitar, powerful vocals, a distinctive lead trumpet and modern synth and effect elements - an unmistakable style that the media and scene have been celebrating for years as "bohemian/dance rock" or trumpet-driven indie sound. A band that knows no distance to the audience, but grabs you as if you had always been part of it.

DenManTau's beginnings are closely linked to street music and DIY ethos: Early on, the band played hundreds of shows, financed trips by busking and built up a parallel audience in Germany and internationally - from Hamburg clubs to gigs on US stages such as Whisky a Go Go, Troubadour and Hotel Café in Los Angeles as well as trade show dates around the NAMM Show.
