Swan Lake is considered one of the most famous ballets in the history of music. In the finest traditional ballet language, it tells of longing, loneliness, jealousy, anger, pain and happiness and, above all, of the victory of love over evil.

The Swan Lake princess is under an evil spell: She can only take on human form for a few hours at night and only true love can redeem her. Prince Siegfried falls in love with the beautiful Odette and swears eternal fidelity to her. The conniving magician Redbeard senses his chance and has his daughter Odile appear at the castle in the form of Odette. The prince is deceived and breaks his vow of fidelity.

The Royal Classical Ballet brings Swan Lake to the stage with feather-light lace dancing, elaborate costumes and colorful scenery. To the music of P. I. Tchaikovsky, professional dancers present the highest traditions of classical ballet.
