It is not without reason that "Swan Lake" is one of the most frequently performed ballets in the world. The internationally renowned Kyiv Classic Ballet will be taking this timeless ballet classic on tour through Germany and Switzerland in January 2026. Under the direction of Tatiana Goliakova, with a large ensemble and the ballet stars Anna Reznichenko, Mie Nagasawa and Denys Nedak, the company will bring "Swan Lake" to the stage in its classical, unadulterated form.

"Swan Lake", composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, tells the fairytale story of Princess Odette, who was enchanted into a swan by the magician Red Beard, and Prince Siegfried, who falls in love with her. Swan Lake" masterfully combines music, dance and dramaturgy to create a timeless work of art that has fascinated audiences for generations. The work combines romantic elements with international folklore and is a masterpiece that captivates both existing and future ballet lovers. Founded in 2008 in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, Artistic Director Tatiana Goliakova has led the ballet company to international renown despite all adversity. After the Russian attacks began in 2022, the company was forced to relocate its rehearsal and theater base to Europe. Since then, the Kyiv Classic Ballet has celebrated its greatest successes in Japan, where it has been recognized as one of the world's best guest ballets for ten years and tours for three months every year. The Kyiv Classic Ballet is appreciated from Asia to Europe and America for its lightness, musicality and subtle technique and impressively reflects the rich cultural heritage of Ukrainian classical ballet traditions.
