Rose has just broken up with her girlfriend and is temporarily moving in with her older brother Sam. The siblings share the rituals of everyday life and time together with friends. But their close bond is shaken when a woman accuses Sam of raping her. For Rose, who is asked to testify as part of the investigation, an inner struggle begins: between the desire to believe her brother and the growing uncertainty as to what actually happened. While life around her seems to go on as normal, Rose struggles with her unconditional love for her brother and the moral question of responsibility.
