Science Slam Essen

In the organizer's words:

Clear, understandable and entertaining in the best sense of the word: at the Science Slam, creative young scientists prove how exciting science can be. Under the motto "Dreams", the evening will focus on big questions: What dreams drive us in research? And how do we turn visions into tangible reality...?

Laugh until the tears come, finally understand the previously incomprehensible and take home amazing new knowledge - all this awaits you at the Science Slam! On the big stage, young scientists present the latest from their research in lively talks. At the end, the audience decides who has given the best presentation. So be there when it's slam time again! You can expect an evening full of inspiration, emotion and science that celebrates the power of ideas and encourages you to think in new ways.

Please note: Scientific content is presented at the Science Slam. This may include sensitive topics such as (mental) illnesses, drugs, sexuality, natural disasters or animal testing.
