Asia curator Dr. Renate Noda gives an overview of the fascinating history of the Silk Road and the cultural exchange along its routes. Embroidered Teubeteika caps from Central Asia, explained by Dr. Lola Shamukhitdinova, reveal the textile heritage of the Silk Road. The evening ends with the group "Sedaa". The trained master singer Naraa Naranbaatar from Mongolia and the virtuoso dulcimer player Ganzorig Davaakhuu, together with the Iranian multi-instrumentalist Omid Bahadori, will whisk you away to the world between the Orient and the Mongolian steppe.
