Every 1st Monday of the month, we meet in a cozy atmosphere in the open foyer of the Ringlokschuppen Ruhr and share our thoughts on the current book over snacks and drinks. Anna moderates the evening and gives room for your opinions. Because we all have something to say.

With Anna Heithausen

Anna Heithausen is an actress and psychologist. Her current projects range from prevention and classroom theater to film and television to theater workshops. In everything she does, she is particularly interested in what other people have to say about it. After all, why make art if nobody has anything to say about it? She is also a passionate reader: novels, non-fiction, poetry - she reads everything she can get her hands on.

6th book: Momo by Michael Ende

On September 1st we will read Momo by Michael Ende

Momo lives in an amphitheater and loves spending time with her many friends and listening to their stories. But then the gray lords show up in town. They are after people's precious time. While people save more and more time, Momo is not impressed by the tricks of the gray lords and soon they are after her.

Momo: Or the Strange Story of the Time Thieves by Michael Ende is a poetic and warm-hearted novel for children and adults about time - how we spend it and who we give it to.

7th book: Prima Facie by Suzie Miller

For the event on October 6th we will read Prima Facie by Suzie Miller

Tessa Ensler is a successful lawyer. Her specialty is defending defendants in sexual assault cases. Then she experiences a sexual assault herself - and everything changes.

Initially successful as a stage play, Suzie Miller's novel Prima Facie tells of the violence experienced by women worldwide and the hurdles in the legal system that make it difficult to provide evidence and conduct trials.
