In the winter semester, the Glen Buschmann Jazz Academy (GBJA) will once again present itself to the public with its most important ensembles, teachers and course participants as part of its 2025 end-of-semester concerts.

Many new faces, young stars and talents who have studied at the Glen Buschmann Jazz Academy over the past two years will perform in various formations. The ensembles and other guests will ensure an evening full of different jazz styles and musical surprises. You can expect an entertaining and very varied program.

The Glen Buschmann Jazz Academy Dortmund, founded in 1996 in memory of Prof. Rainer "Glen" Buschmann and awarded the WDR Jazz Prize in the "Honorary Prize" category in 2017, has earned a great reputation in NRW and Germany, especially with its highly regarded teaching concept and a number of renowned jazz musicians. No wonder: the academy's lecturers and teachers are nationally and internationally active jazz musicians with a wealth of experience - both musically and educationally.
