Sessionseröffnung Bonn

In the organizer's words:

The thunder of cannons on Bonn's market square will once again herald the end of the carnival dry spell at 11:11 a.m. sharp!

Traditionally, the Bonn Carnival Festival Committee organizes an elaborate stage show against the backdrop of the Old Town Hall at the start of Carnival and cordially invites all carnival revellers from near and far to celebrate the start of the new Fastelovend season together. The motto for the 2025/2026 season in Bonn is "200 years of Bonn Carnival - jestern, hück and morje".

All of the city's royalty will be there, led by Prince Roland I and Bonna Stephanie III.
