Shadowpainter

30 years / 3 members / guitar / vocals / bass / drums / music that hits you in the mouth and in the heart at the same time

Shadowpainter are unmistakably influenced by the alternative / grunge rock of the 90s, yet progressive, modern and above all independent, just like the current greats of the post-rock and metal scene.

A love of riffs, bitter-sweet melancholy and aggressive to epic outbursts are probably the best way to describe Shadowpainter's sound.

SHARK TRAILS from Giessen love the loud emo guitar sound of the noughties, riffs bathed in reverb and sometimes filigree plaid-shirt folk, which is also reflected in their record cabinets, where Appleseed Cast, As Friends Rust and Circa Survive stand harmoniously alongside Captain Planet or Chuck Ragan. SHARK TRAILS are a very fresh band made up of old hands that you can recognize from well-known bands like

Stand der Dinge, Shadowpainter, Sometimes Go, Dear Diary and Colourful Grey. And how nice: the band will also be celebrating their EP release at AK44 on 25.10.

Brain Heck

Stylistically, Brain Heck is at home in the 90s (post)grunge era, the sound is best described as a mixture of "Stone Temple Pilots", "Alice in Chains" and "Pearl Jam", with groovy drums, tight bass, two alternating lead guitars and melodic, melancholic vocals.

The band consists of (ex) members of "Cor Blimey" and "Tragic Vision", as well as the still active bands "Shadowpainter" and "Captain Overdrive".
