• Are there typical inner voices that young women/female readers in particular are familiar with?

• Where do they come from and what do they want?

• What does it say about the reality of young women's/female-read people's lives when certain voices are widely heard?

In this art project, we invite you to explore these questions artistically.

Who can take part?

• 10 young women/female readers between the ages of 17 and 26 can take part.

• No previous knowledge is required.

• The project is free of charge.

• All materials will be provided.

• Please only register if you can attend all project dates.

What will happen?

• Over four Saturdays, participants will learn various drawing and illustration techniques to create characters and figures. Using the model of the inner team, they will explore typical inner voices and give them shape using the skills they have learned.

• The works are then curated into an exhibition by the project group and presented in the Kreativ-Haus.

• They invite friends, family and acquaintances to the exhibition opening and we organize a great supporting program: illustrator Jan Hendrik Ax and author Mareike Graepel will read from their book "Change is female: Frauen, die heute schon Geschichte schreiben" and invite you to a discussion round.

• Lena Zeise is the artistic director of the project. She is an illustrator and you can get an impression of her work here.
