with LIGHTHOUSE

The 16th album by folk rock band Shiregreen was released in mid-2025 and has met with an enthusiastic response in Germany as well as in Scotland.
The centerpiece of the album is the almost 11-minute songwriting epic "The Lighthouse", which tells the story in four parts of the mysterious disappearance of three lighthouse keepers from the Scottish island of Eilean Mor in 1900. Like most of the tracks on LIGHTHOUSE, the song is another collaboration with Scottish songwriter Tom Fairnie, and even though Fairnie was not present in the Rotenburg Toolhouse studio this time, the Scottish influence is always noticeable.

Further highlights of the album are the folk rock anthem "Borders", with which Adamaschek sings against nonsensical borders between nations and people, but also in our heads, and the successful single release "Time Is Running Out", which deals with indifference towards war and right-wing arsonists.

Audiences and critics are enthusiastic about Shiregreen's 16th album: Susanne Kanngieser (HNA) writes: "Shiregreen's new album LIGHTHOUSE opens up unimagined horizons, it draws on his wealth of sounds, ideas and clever lyrics that are pure fodder for the head cinema." And Joe Brookes writes in Rocktimes magazine: "LIGHTHOUSE has depth, is the high art of multi-layered emotions. The album is a great achievement, a masterpiece of the band."

Klaus Adamaschek will present the new songs up close and personal with guitar, harp and his haunting voice, backed up by one or two musicians from his Shiregreen band.
