His American accent often confuses people when they ask him about his origins for the first time. Born and raised in the small town of Bolnisi - formerly Katharinenfeld - in Georgia, Shota Adamashvili never thought he would one day become a country musician. But the movie "The Electric Horseman" changed his life forever. Its soundtrack "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys" awakened his dream of becoming a traveling singer-songwriter. For over a decade now, Shota has been touring Europe as Georgia's first and only country musician. If he is not refused a visa again, his first visit to the USA is scheduled for October as part of the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards.
