Silke Schönfeld – Kunst und Gedächtnis

Solo exhibition and scholarship presentation by the Sparkasse Unna-Kamen Cultural Foundation

Silke Schönfeld is this year's winner of the Sparkasse Unna-Kamen Cultural Foundation's "Art and Memory" competition. She impressed the jury with her video installations, which explore the theme of the competition on various levels. On the one hand, she directs our attention to the collective subconscious in order to make the influence of the past on our coexistence in the present tangible. On the other hand, her works give voice to people who share their memories with us. Their expansive works, which range between installation, staging and documentary film, will be on display as part of the exhibitions.

Exhibition opening and presentation of the scholarship on December 7 at 11:30 am. Last day of the exhibition on December 21 from 2-5 p.m. with coffee and cake.

Opening hours: Thursday 7 - 9 p.m., Saturday 3 - 5 p.m., Sunday 2 - 5 p.m.
