SION RETURNS TO EUROPE WITH HIS NEW E.P. "EIGENSINN"

Seoul Therapy and Undercover are bringing singer and producer Sion back to Germany to present his new project "eigensinn" live - with stops in Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt. The tour will also take him to other European cities such as London, Paris and Madrid.

Known for his cross-genre productions, Sion is moving more towards hyperpop and electronic sounds - with lyrics full of social criticism that address the challenges of his generation.

"eigensinn" deals with the emotional and psychological state of a generation that has grown up in a world full of media, algorithms and social networks.

The focus is on the identity crisis and digital exhaustion of the so-called Zoomers - young people who have been shaped by the internet and are trapped in it at the same time. The album poses the question of how a generation for whom anxiety, constant comparison and sensory overload have become the norm lives and feels in today's world.

While the parents' generation (the X'ers) still feared the dangers of the outside world and wanted to protect their children from them, these children have grown up with a fear of the invisible - raised in the boundless, unfiltered space of the internet.

As part of this generation, Sion processes self-reflection, criticism and satire in his album - and at the same time a certain nostalgia and homage to the formative years. The result is an emotional work that oscillates between distance and longing.
